I am officially sick of...
Jon & Kate Plus 8.
She still cries poverty (oh, we dont even have college funds ) yet I am watching an episode that they are looking to buy property.
We all know you are raking in the $$ for your show, so stop acting like your poor and enjoy your free vacations.

I cannot stand her! (See my comments from yesterday ) 
I dont understand how you can have 8 kids and be SO ANTI-letting kids be KIDS.
The kids are just so cute though- i love watching them. I just wish they would show less of her. She ruins the show.
And, the way she treats John? I wonder how much longer he can deal with it.

I think the kids are adorable - but every episode lately is Jon & Kate on vacation.
eta; neenie you are so right! I swear, the episode at Disney I wanted to punch her thru the TV - god forbid the kids get ice cream on their shirt

really? i love this show-and I think Kate is so "real"....
she is my inspiration, I watch this show bc if she can be so organized w/8, then I can w/2!!!
Maybe they are looking for property to buy as an investment, so that they can then afford to put the kids thru college?
Putting 8 kids thru college is no joke!

Well I would think with 8 kids, she needs some help! I know people who complain and they have all kinds of help with 1 kid!!

Well I would think with 8 kids, she needs some help! I know people who complain and they have all kinds of help with 1 kid!!
Kate gets lots of help, she has the lady that folds her laundry and her helper friends who come to the house and on vacation with them.
I love the kids but hate Kate. My hate for grew even more when some of the kids had the flu and she still went with Jon to Cali for his hair plugs! She didn't need to be there.
IMO she seems very socially awkard on top of not allowing the kids to just be kids....
I also don't think her constant put downs of Jon are appropriate in front of the children

They NEED to buy another house because as the 8 kids grow up, their Penn. house isnt big enough. They are looking down south at property b/c as we all know its cheaper.
I am having a heart attack thinking about how much college will cost by the time my little one is 18....can you imagine 4 years x 8 kids??!?!?!?!
Yes they get alot of freebies - but not a ton of $$$. The trips they go on are usually given to them by companies wanting to help (but get some free advertising)
I think it's very easy to critisize her on how she treats her husband and kids but until you are in her shoes, I for one will not throw any stones.
There are MANY worse parents out there who abuse and neglect their children ( I teach and have seen some horrific things!)

I worked for CPS for a long while and if her being stern is the extent of her discipline then i'm all for it. I understand "kids being kids" but with EIGHT children I would think if you don't set some type of precedent and expectations things could get out of hand very easily...
I don't know many people could have 8 human beings (9 including a hubby) constantly needing their attention and not be a bit snippy

I respect her for not putting on an act that they are the "perfect family" for the camera....
I think most woman would completely lose it if they were in her shoes, and there is no way the 2 of them could do it with no help!
IMO she is a normal woman who was handed this crazy situation, and she is doing a great job! A LOT better than most would be able to do...and for her to allow the world to see her?
I wouldnt want cameras in MY house for one day with my 2 kids because I would probably be admitted to a mental institution-lol!

I'm kind of over this show. I loved the kids, but really Kate, get over yourself.
I don't get how she thinks sometimes. Yes, I'm sure 8 kids are tough, but I never actually see her do anything, but cook.

I have been over her for a long time. I got so tired of her attitude and sitting on her bum while telling everyone what to do. Play with your kids dont just tell them what to do. Let your kids be kids and get dirty and make messes and laugh. Ever wonder why her kids whine and cry and hit each other so much???
My mom and dad raised 8 children. My mom did not have someone coming over to fold the laundry, she had nobody to come over to watch us kids so she could make dinner. My mom was never snippy with us and never sat on her bum and bossed us around. We were well disciplined and my mom had very good order to our home. She never treated my dad disrespectfully. Yes she may have not had 6 of us at the same age but there was 4 of us all in diapers at the same time and my brother and are only 11 months apart.
I think yes she has her hands full, yes it is challenging. But she is not the only one raising a large family, it has been done before and done presently by many other parents who dont have a show and are not receiving free help, free gifts and $$.

And if you watched the Disney Episode, Kate was having a HEART ATTACK because the kids were getting ice cream on their clothes. Clothes can be cleaned (which she has help with).
Its not like she is doing it on her own. I have read that they have a chef!

I don't know where you saw they were looking at estates- I watched the episode last week and they were looking at land and large houses.
I too have to agree I thought the Disney ep was a bit ridiculous but can;t you at least concede to the fact that even adults have MELTDOWNS in the heat and craziness that is WDW- I personally wouldnt have brought all those children so young but it was most likely paid for.
I am VERY organized/ mild OCD person and I can relate to Kate- to someone like that (me) it isnt just let the kids have fun, it's stains and mess and all the people looking at them see the dirtiness.
As for a chef- I can't defend that because I truly don't know but I also don't believe what I read. Organic food is very important to J&K and on the show anyway they are always cooking.
My parents were not rolling around in the $$$ but my brother and I went to private/ Catholic school for 12 years each. Parents sacrifice ( and god forbid! even complain about not having $) to have their kids go their if that's what's important.
Don't get me wrong- I'm not Kate's personal defended but what I'm sick of is people bashing her parenting choices when we ALL have our own issues to deal with.

I did catch a funny moment on that show a few weeks ago:
Kate was doing one of the girls' hari, Hannah, I think. So she sprays the detangler and goes to put it back on the counter. The label must have been facing the back of her hand, so she had to very akwardly turn the bottle around so the Johnson's label was facing the camera.
It made me laugh, because they must be on them to show the product otherwise they may pull the sponsorship.

Not for nothing... I lived in Reading PA for a while and my aunt lives there now.
Wyomissing is the town she lives in (right near Reading) and it is
RIII-IIIICHH!
