I am so bored...I want to change my look!
I feel like summer puts me in a rut!!!!!
I rarely blow out my hair
I never wear make up
I wear flats/flip flops
I am so bored now!
I am ready for change!!!!!
I think I should get a Hair cut and color ASAP and take it from there
anyone else feel this way?

i'm in the same boat. i already chopped my hair off 2 days after my wedding in early june but i refuse to color it til i get grey's. i'm stuck.

Just last week I got this great layered haircut that makes it easier for me to wear my hair naturally curly -- we also dyed it a dark auburn. I love it!

This happens to me like 3/4 times a year... I wake up and suddenly want a whole new look. I end up spending a fortune at a make-up counter and NEVER wear what I buy. You want make-up? Let me know.. you can have mine..lol it's all brand new in it's box..
About a month ago I went to the girl who used to color my hair in college and she dyed it what she called, "cherry coke". Let me tell you it changed my look COMPLETELY!! And I loved it!!
I say go for a good cut and color! Get long layers, or a long side bang.. something to frame your face... the simplist thing can make the biggest difference!!

I agree...I would go get a new hair cut...change your color maybe, do alittle fall shopping and mini day at the spa and you will feel better.

I am guessing from your picture that you have thick naturally straight hair. YOu would look great w/bangs or layered look.
I always wanted to try the chunky bang look...but i have curly thin hair which i straightened every day. The hairdresser always says it wouldnlt look good on me. Maybe u will like them.
I just started going darker with my hair...it was so washed out from all my highlight...so last week i added Lowlights and cut a lot off my hair. I needed the cut and want my hair to get healthy again. I was feeling the same way the past few weeks. I splurged on a lot of new clothes, makeup, and hair. MY DH was stressing with all the money $$$. lol OH well- I needed a new change for the fall.

Ugh, welcome to my world.  I always want to do something to my hair but I really can't do much. I finally highlighted it a year ago and have kept it up but now that summer is over...I'm over it, but I want to do something different. I just don't know what.

ME! I have a wedding in 2 weeks, so I am actually waiting until after in case my metamorphasis is quite horrid (HAHA), then I am going to get a major chop/layers and it dyed.

yes i just did this before going back to work,
haircut and highlights
purged my closet of old clothes
and went on a mini spree at the outlets,
sometimes we need to do these things for ourselves
next project Shoes that should be fun

Yep - I cut 7 inches off my hair a few weeks ago  It's still a little past my shoulders. It's the same style so it gave me a little change without being really drastic.

this is the begining of my transformation....
I am going to do a long bang and layers
for color- a deep chocolate brown- my hair is so bleached from the sun- it looks orange to me
I can't wait- my hair looks so bad right now!!!!!!

Let us know how everything goes & post pics!! I just got my hair cut in layers with bangs. I still have to get used to the bangs though. Its annoying at first, but after a while, you get used to it.

i just started getting out of my "summer rut"
I wore heels yesterday and today for the first time in a LONG time ( to work anyway ). Wearing my cute summer tops but with long pants instead of capris, looks much better. I HAVE to get back into wearing makeup every day - I stopped when I was having terrible breakouts but I was a little tan so it didn't look bad, once this tan fades - its going to get scary!

I am going to start wearing eye make up again (I do wear mascara daily)
I wish the weather would get a little cooler- I am having issues getting dresses every morning- I feel like it's too hot for fall clothes- but most of my summer clothes are in true summer colors (blues, corals, brights)

I always feel like this! I did a drastic cut right after my wedding and went way shorter (I had very long hair). I have layers and its an angled bob, longer in the front! I love this look and layers make your hair feel so light! Can't wait to see what you decide!

not yet- I just got JHS so I don't need it yet- but I will be getting it in another 3 or 4 months
I just got home from the salon- they did an amazing job- the colorist (Vivian from Studio NV in merrick) really listened to me and gave me the perfect color
it's a deep choc with a gloss...it's so nice and shiney!!!!
