I am so confused by diaper sizing

For the longest time DD has been leaking in Pampers. Initially they were too big but now I think they just don't work for her. So, I had a box of Costco/Kirkland size 1-2 (up to 14 or 15 lbs--DDis 11-12lbs right now) and I knew of someone who had a smaller baby and used them with no problem so I figured I would try them out. Well, they are smaller than my Pamper size 1 and she leaked urine for the first time with them and had poop out the leg. So, I return those and bought size 2 huggies to try them out and figured if they are too big now they will eventually fit. Well, i just opened them up and they look to be the same size as the Pampers size 1. They all run such different sizes. I just can't seem to figure out what to use for DD that won't leak. I'm now going to try huggies. hopefully we wil have luck!

It really is different for every baby...and different diaper is different.

DS wears a Luvs size 3 and a 4 in Huggies Overnights, it is just silly.

For us...Ive found Huggies to be the largest, then pampers and huggies the smallest. She could do Huggies size 4 and have ALOT of room, while its just right for pampers 4 and Luvs would would be WAY too small.
