Re: I am so confused on what stroller to get!

I registered just for the snap & go to use initially.....then im going to wait and see what i really need when the baby outgrows the infant seat. If I had to pick a second stroller now, I would probably pick something lightweight like the metrolite, the zippy or the pliko3
I highly recommend doing this! The snap and go is all you need for the first 6 months or so.
ETA: We then got the Baby Jogger and I am thrilled with it. Plus a cheapy folding stroller from a consignment place for errands.

I registered for the chicco cortina travel system and the snap and go. I knew I wanted a travel system but I like this one because the handle was the most comfortable and adjustable height, the seat layed down flat (for when baby wants to sleep), like the pattern (discovery pattern) Very smooth when I test drove it in the store, carseat got great ratings, easy one handed fold. The metrolite by graco seemed a lot LESS study.
Go to the store and test drive them. I also asked mothers in BRU that I saw using them with their babies.

same for just about the same reasons
I am most likely going to register for this one and the chicco capri lightweight stroller

That was one of our contenders, its an awesome stroller!!
We decided to get the orbit infant system- it has great reviews, the car seat is very safe, its light weight, I can fold it with one hand, and it works just like a snap and go with the infant seat

i tried that one out at BBB as well. I think it's pretty cool that Orbit is now coming out with a toddler car seat that goes on the stroller, too!

I have the Metrolite and Snugride in the Delancy print. DS is 8 months and we are still using the snugride. And I never really found the need to get a snap and go with the Metrolite, it is very light and compact and easy to use.

We are getting the Bugaboo Frog. I have also registered for the attachment so that I can use the Graco snugride with it. It seems to be the best choice for us.

Re: I am so confused on what stroller to get!
Can I just say, the stroller department of BBB was where I started to get very frustrated. I got such a headache in that department, my head was spinning and I wanted to just go home. I brought my BFF who has 2 kids. There are so many options and it can make you crazy. Basically in the end I agree you have to test drive them and even pick them up like you are going to put them in your car. No sense in cursing the thing out a few months into using it. I actually told my friend after that experience that I'm never leaving the house with the baby!
I finally went with a Graco travel system that includes the snugfit infant seat which also got good safety ratings - they all have to pass and the salesperson at BBB assured me that the Graco seat did pass. I personally found the Chicco systems to be a bit heavy for me, I'm petite and have some back issues (if my back hurts I'd be cursing the thing). I like the fact the Graco stroller was lightweight. My BFF with the 2 has the Graco tandem stroller - and I have to say pushing that around even with the boys in it wasn't too bad even considering that I had zero confidence pushing to small boys in around a store, so one baby in a single stroller should be cake. I also registered for the Graco snap n go. I may have to reregister for the actual travel system/stroller at BRU b/c I hated the pattern at BBB which I think was the part making me nuts. I think I like the Bermuda or G-Galore patterns best and will see if they have the system available in either at BRU. Some of the other brands had nice patterns but some were a bit quirkey and others just too expensive.

I didn't want 57 different strollers so we registered for and just received the Bumbleride Flyer. I LOVE it!!

Re: I am so confused on what stroller to get!
I have a Pliko P3 love it, a Kolcraft infant carrier that I just bought and I love. I received a Graco one for my shower that I didn't love and I returned it then I decided to try the Kolcraft and I'm in love with it. It closes so easy and the basket is HUGE. I also have a Bumbleride which I love and I ordered a Combi Cosmo that hasn't arrived yet. You should get the baby bargains book and read it. Also the staff at BBB are extremely knowlegable and helpful when it comes to strollers. You should go during the week when it's not busy and try out all the strollers to see which one fits your needs. Good Luck!
ETA: My BFF just got an Uppa Baby Vista. It's awesome...a little bulky but it moves soooo nice and the basket is huge. It's a great alternative to the Bugaboo and it's about $200 cheaper

Re: I am so confused on what stroller to get!
I have a snap and go, a Pliko P3 and a Combi that my mom will use.
If I had to do it over again, I would get the snap and go, and then wait to get another stroller. I havent used the Pliko yet and I sort of changed my mind and Target will not let me return it bc it is over 90 days - even though it has never been taken out of the box. I was deciding between the Zippy and the P3 - they are very similar and very lightweight and can be used from birth.
Now that the baby is almost 12 weeks old and I have been out and about with the snap and go - I have a better idea of what I am looking for in a stroller.
I loved the Uppababy Vista - but what a monster - it's very big and HEAVY!!

I have this exact one and really like it. My son is 5 months and still in the infant seat.
