I am so embarrassed

so I used to work at Pep Boys when I was 19 or 20 I am 26 now so it wasnt that long ago.......anyway Yesterday when I was atJones Beach for the Corp Challenge This girl is yelling my name so I turn around and she looks familiar but I cant really place her . She says remember me we used to work at Pep Boys together and I was like oh yeah how are you...she is holding a 3 yr old so I ask her if thats her child etc....then she said she married the guy she had been dating for like 10 yrs or whatever

I CANT REMEMBER HER NAME

has this ever happen to anyone else???

Yup

The worst was at my sister's HS graduation one year after mine. This girl literally jumped in front of me to say hello and I had absolutely no idea who it was. I had just spent 4 full years of classes with this girl and here one year later not I only did I forget her name, I didn't even recognize her.

OMG..this happens to me all the time! If its not bad enough that I forget the person's name, its even worse if I am with someone(like a friend or DH) and cant introduce them because I cant remember..I always end up apologizing to the person that I am with for beng rude and not doing introductions

oh I also did this at my Dad's 50th surprise bday party....I couldnt remember a few people and I was introducing DH to peopl and couldnt remember them

ALL the time! I had an SAT student I was tutring and when I went to his house I spoke to his mom who asked me about ym background and when i mentioned what HS I went to, she said her daughter went there, and showed me a pic on the wall. She was my year, we even did a play together, she was the director, I was the music director, I could NOT remeber her name for shizz..and she was waiting for me to say "oh yeah I know her!" and I said I did and we did a play and she was waiting for me to ay the name and I ahd to admit I forgot it! This was only 3 years out of HS mind you. Then I met up with the girl and we said hi or whatever, but I felt soooo bad not remembering her name!
