I am so upset at what happened at Virginia Tech!
I am not sure if it is bec I work at a University that it is really hitting me.
I work with students and faculty everyday and I can't even imagine how they are dealing with this at VT.

I feel exactly the same way...I was just reading some news articles about it and I am so devestated...I was sitting in grad class tonight thinking how unbelievable it is that something so horrific could happen in a school

I've been so shocked this whole day. Luckily, everyone I was connected to at VT is safe... There is such a huge population of kids in the area that I work that go to Tech... And I know many who went there...
It just saddens me so much.

I am sickened & saddened but everything that has happened down there! Luckily everyone I know down there is accounted for & safe. Many questions have arised & I agree with some of them! It is scary to know you may not be safe in a classroom!!!

It's horrible; I can't even imagine sitting in class (during the day, no less) and having that happen. It's really very easy to get right on campus at most schools. I think this person was a student, too?

its so sad. on GMA this morning, they had siblings of the first victim that died. they had his twin and sister on. they said that it still hasn't sunk in yet

I literally had nightmares last night. I woke up in a panic.
This morning on WBLI they had a compilation of the Nickelback song and the sounds and voices of the VA students - I was crying.
I have the deepest sympathy for those students and their families. That campus will never be the same

I just found out about this a few hours ago. Why arent gun control laws stricter? I have been wondering that since my cousin was involved in the Columbine shootings. How many school shootings does it take?

I am having the same issues. I had such a weird feeling walking across campus this morning, thinking what it must be like for them.

That's disgusting to me. Who would do that? What's next, putting sounds from the WTC crashing down to the tunes of Dave Matthews? Some things are too sacred.

That radio thing goes right back to 9-11. When Z100 played imagine with people talking over the song, saying they saw the bodies flying throught the air. horrible, horrible thing to do.
The whole VT tragedy is just awful, I felt for the students. They had to go o-line to try to find out what was happening.
