My dh had issues with his VW dealer. The color silver was popular and it came from Jersey with 200 miles on it. He said no way is Northern Jersey 200 miles, maybe Atlantic City. They finally after 2 hours made a note it came with 200 miles, they wanted him to keep it with the miles and pretend he drove them.

Ok...
So the sales person actually called my father today at his office "accidentally" and asked for me 
He apologized over and over for the "misunderstanding", etc
He left 2 messages on my home machine and when I called him back tonight they said it was his day off 
Anyway, I just got a quote from another dealership that was over $100 more...so I guess he did give me a good price. I just hate that he strung me along the way he did. If he had told me that was the final price from the begining I would have done my research and that would have been that. But, he led me to believe that there was more room for negotiation and that is just a sleazy sales tactic...
We're going to take the car, but next time I am going elsewhere.
