i did that, its weird it hurt so much and then like 2 days later it turned purple and did not hurt at all....

I feel for you I did this in May. Ds was only 2 months old. I broke my toe right in half, really the top part of my toe was looking towards my other toes. It was hard the 1st week or so but then I had a cast on it and was walking on it (NOT dr's orders)

oh my goodness i am so sorry.
i fractured my foot when my kids were about 8 months old and could not carry them, etc... i had to have constant help for over a month.
my heart really goes out to you.

It does get better. You'll feel better in Aruba   It just is crummy for now!
I broke mine at my best friends wedding! I walked into a piece of moulding sticking way out. I was only on my 2nd drink, too
