I cannot believe this - people you don't want in your family resurfacing!
After Liza posted on being left out of the loop by her family, I usually tell everyone that I "leaned" out of those people in my life. I hate drama in my life. So I have not spoken to my father and one of my sister for years.
Well, guess what ...... they apparently got my number (nevermind that they live overseas and thanks to the other sister for giving up my telephone number. ) and called while I was out this afternoon.
They both called DH this afternoon who they never met and did not even know until recently that I was married to and had a baby.
Poor DH had to deal with my dad not speaking English... had the translation from my sister on a conference call. I had warned him they were loonies. He could not wait to tell me about an "interesting" phone call he got this afternoon.
WTH won't they leave me alone?

Ugh....I would NOT be happy about that. I hope some good can come of it, but, if it doesn't, then I hope they disappear again!

I know! I can't believe I have to deal with them probably tomorrow. I just love my "quiet" life with DH and DS.

Oh you have can have my dad and sister. But beware.... you will have to deal with barely understandable voicemails at home from a phone call at 2pm on a week day from a drunken father wondering why the heck you are not answering your home phone in the afternoon of workweek day. Or deal with a sister backstabbing you or repeating to daddy every comments you made about any topics. Or you will have to deal with the details of her sex life with boyfriend #32538.
