I can't believe a year has passed...
This morning DH and I were waking up, laying in bed, and he turns to me and says, do you remember how we woke up on Christmas Eve last year? You turned to me and said, can you believe that next year at this moment we will be getting ready to celebrate our baby's first Christmas? I remember thinking how far away that was, that I still had 5 months before the baby even came, never mind a year until his first Christmas. I see my DS sitting next to me right now in his exersaucer, gumming a zwiback cookie, and I still cannot believe how incredibly blessed I am. I never would have remembered our little moment last Christmas Eve if DH hadn't reminded me. He's such a sap sometimes.  Merry first Christmas little man- mommy & daddy love you more than you will ever be able to imagine.
And Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all of the LIF mommies and kiddies!! I probably won't get back on for a few days, but enjoy this time with your family and friends- and remember how truly blessed each and everyone of us is!!

I know what you mean. This time last year I was just 19 weeks pregnant. Now I have a beautiful 7 month old son.
