Re: I can't believe I am typing this... UPDATE ON PG 2
I had a miscarriage on September 21st and I just ovulated on October 3rd. So for some people, they do not ovulate rigth away, others do.
I will see in a few weeks if I am pregnant and if it sticks!!
Good Luck!!

I am so sorry to hear of your m/c. When i miscarried, I was also told to wait one cycle to make sure all of the hormones were out of my body before starting again and giving your body time to rest.. Infection was also mentioned to me so that may also be a reason to wait.

Thanks for all your well wishes. It is a little overwhelming!!!
Unfortuntely the midwife believes this is a miscarriage. I have to agree. The cramping has turned into (I guess) kind of strong contractions and the bleeding hasn't let up. She seems to think that I should miscarry naturally today. I have to go for a Beta Hcg level tommorow because I have a very strong family history of twins. There is the slighest chance.. I mean probably no chance... that I am miscarrying one twin and she needs to be sure. But all of my pg symptoms have left and I am am 100% sure this is not the case.
For those who miscarried before and didn't wait a full cycle before trying again... did you carry the pregnancy to term? I was thinking that since it was so early that I might just ignore the "wait one cycle" advice and try in the next week or two when I "O". What do you think? Has anyone had experience with getting PG before their next AF comes. I have been told that you are very fertile after a miscarriage. I don't know if this is a wives tale or not.
Thanks for all the support. Between losing my grandpa last weekend and this I am more than a little emotionally spent.
I am soo sorry for your loss
If you think you need some time emotionally for healing take it
I got pg with my oldest right after my m/c, exactly 3 weeks after without an AF. She's now 17 months and i also have a 3 month old.
When i got pg, i was more scared to tell my doc since he told me wait 1 cycle. He basically told me with a natural m/c the waiting period is more for emotional healing and not for physical, while there "could" be in increased risk in m/c if you don't wait, the probability is now in your favor since 1 in 4-5 pg's miscarry. I was ready emotionally, and waiting actually would have done more harm for DH and I.
Def talk to your DH, he's grieving too, and go from there if your ready for rollercoaster of TTC.
I'm soo sorry again for your loss
FM if you have any other questions
