I can't believe I saw this!
I am totally laid back and try not to be judgmental but holy crap!
We took DD to the park today and as we are pulling into the parking lot a truck pulls out. The driver could have been a dad or perhaps a grandpa and ON HIS LAP was what looked like 3 year girl.  She had her hands on the wheel like she was driving. 
I seriously was stunned. We got out of the car and watched as the truck turned around and went back down the block. (We were at the park on pond path)
I turned to my DH and said "If I ever caught you doing something like that I'd flucking kill you"
While it is not a high traffic area there are little children all over the place and ummm hello you should not be driving with your child in your lap!!!!!

I'll be honest...I used to do this when I was a little girl with my dad too!  He would put me on my lap and I would pretend I was driving. We would only do it on our block but I looooooved it! That would never happen today with my DS though

I used to do the same thing with my dad or my grandfather. However, we were usually in an empty parking lot or on our dead end street where no one was out
