Honestly, and I know this may not help, but I hate when people think they can get away with things like that. I'd go to HR. From what you are saying she is just stupid & insensitive, but she crossed a line here....
unfortunately she was the Only one in the room when she said it. I pretty much know for a fact she'd deny it if ever reported to hr...
However her husband is the office manager- my boss and I will be telling him on monday when hes back in the office, I already told my one coworker on friday and he wasnt surprised she'd say it

It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out how to be sensitive in such a situation. You don't have to actually have a miscarriage to know how to be human, and sensitive. She had no right and no class or decency.
I am so SO very sorry for everything. People like that are low and don't deserve your emotion. I know it must be hard, and that doesn't help at all.
