I deserve wife/mother/daughter of the year award!
Hubby is stranded in Pittsburgh - what was supposed to be a day trip is turning into a mini-vacation  So, I'm home with Alex and my dad, and since hubby left I have taken care of Alex all by my lonesome, prepared dinner for myself and my dad, cleaned up the entire house, and even woke up at 5am to shovel all the paths and driveway, and clear my car and my dad's car. ALL WHILE HAVING A BROKEN HAND!
Now, the question is, what do you think my hubby, or most men would do in this situation? It's a fact - women ARE stronger than men

Unfortunately, I can sympathize with some of that.
Please, please be careful with your hand and don't further injure it.
I hope your Dad doesn't have to leave the house today... there are a lot of icy patches.

I will... as soon as hubby comes back I'll head over to the hospital to have it looked at. The good thing is the break/damage is on the outside of the hand, so I can still function fairly well. My dad has dialysis today, but as it turns out, Alex's school is closed today, so I'm staying home with her, so I can drive him to and from dialysis. Whew! Thank goodness for school closings!
