I don't know what's wrong with me **UPDATE**
Here is some history so everyone knows what I'm talking about...
On 10/28 I got 2 BFPs, on 10/29 I got 2 BFN, AF came full force on 10/31...So I'm out right...well here is the confusing part...I went to see my GYN on 10/29...he wasn't totally convinced that I wasn't PG...I went for three blood tests on three different days. I the saw my GYN again last thursday...AF finished, he told me that I miscarried and wanted me to go for more blood tests because my levels were going up... So I did and my levels are still going up...So here is the problem....MY GYN said today I could still be PG (which I doubt due to how heavy AF was), or I could have not totally miscarried and i'll need a D&C....or I have an ectopic pregnancy....I'm so confused, worried, upset....please help...has anyone gone through this before......I'm a mess right now
**UPDATE*
My doctor called me last night to discuss my options. My levels were still going up, but not at a normal increse...they were only at 160 so he scheduled me for a D&C today. I am already home. I'm just glad this is all over and I can start to focus on next month.
Thnak you all for the wonderful support and advise...it really got me hrough this.

oh my God sweety.... i can't express to you how sorry I am that you are going through this...
what did the doctor recommend you do NOW??? Forget about the possibility of either way (just for a sec) - what are you supposed to do now???? Sitting in limbo, not knowing is not right....

well I went for a blood test today and i have another one on Wednesday, I see him on Monday....so Yes I have a week to wait to see...Its torture

I'll call them on Thursday to see if todays test shows a drop in levels....so far I have done 4 and they are all rising
so who knows

I would think (and I'm not too familiar with this) that if it was an ectopic pregnancy, they wouldn't want you to wait another week on this. I know when I had my first m/c at first they thought it was ectopic and did several sonograms to make sure it wasn't.
Either way i'm soooo sorry you have to go through this!

your numbers are rising????? Give them a call today and find out your numbers... Are they doubling??
Have you POAS'd lately????
It is entirely possible to be pregnant and bleed....it's rare, but it DOES happen..

It is entirely possible to be pregnant and bleed....it's rare, but it DOES happen..
I asked him I was showing good levels...he didn't want to tell me either way...he is the type of doctor that doesn't commit to an answer unless he is 100% sure....I like it like that so at least I don't feel like a ping pong ball...
As far as POAS...i don't want to...its so hard to see a BFP and it not be or the other way around....I guess I have to wait

I'm so sorry. I can't imagine what you are going through. I went through a miscarriage last week and will just be going to the Dr. for the my first blood tests on Wednesday. They recommended that I wait a week or more for the tests to make sure the levels have returned to normal. I was going to suggest that maybe you had the blood tests too soon, except your levels are rising. Did they do a sonogram to check the lining of your uterus? I hope you get an answer soon.

That would bother me like nothing else. You have a right to know your numbers....this living without knowing is NOT good for you.... I understand the feeling like a ping pong ball - but that would be better than not knowing ANYTHING...or would it???
If the poas would hurt - than DO NOT DO it....i understand how hard it would be...
i am so sorry...truly... i hope this turns out to be a silly conversation (because it ends with a confirmed bfp) and in a week we can go, OMG - remember how crazy we were???

If they see anything in your uterus - even just an empty gestational sac, that would mean that the pregnancy is NOT ectopic.
If there's nothing in your uterus and your numbers keep rising, then it could be ectopic. You need to find this out ASAP! I don't mean to be an alarmist but ectopic pregnancies can cause tubal ruptures and you can end up losing one of your tubes.
Please stay on top of your doctors!

he has done a few sono's...and for one he saw the thnk lining...but then Af came....the other he told me not to be surprised if I do bleed again...which leads me to bleieve that I miscarried and there is still some left over and thats what is keeping my levels high....I highly doubt that its an ectopic also...but who knows.....but you are right...he wouldn't be so laid back about it...he is in the "let's wait and see" mode so
I'm starting to feel a bit better...thanks

I hope you are able to get some answers soon.
I am sure that if your Dr thought it was eptopic and you were at risk for a tubal rupture, he would do a sono.

I know exactly how you feel
not knowing is the worst part but like a previous poster said if they think it might be ectopic you really need to get checked out sooner rather tha later

This happened to one of my cousins and it turned out she had been pregnant with twins - miscarried one of them but was still pregnant with the other.
