I don't think I have enough 'good' toys for my almost 7 mos old. Please share toy ideas
I ask this all of the time. I need something I think BIG to entertain him outside of myself, and his small toys. Like something that could sit in front of him that he could open, press, plays musics, etc. ANY suggestions?

Re: I don't think I have enough 'good' toys for my almost 7 mos old. Please share toy ideas
Just went to my FB albums of when DS was 6 & 7 months (don't mind me posting pics of DS in your thread just wanted to show you some ideas). DS was 6 months at Xmas so he got a whole new "round" of toys then...
A walker toy that he can sit in front of, FP pop beads, a grabby ball (I think that's an "O" ball??)
Little plastic tub toys (like the boats sold at most supermarkets) he liked playing with them out of the tub, easy to grab and chew.
A parachute. I'd tuck it in the couch cushions so we can get a good up and down going by myself. He loved to hold and shake it and put small toys on top to see them bounce and just the shooshy noise of it.
A walker.
As mentioned... the piano. A pop a flap animal thing, bubbles, Vtech makes a cute ball with buttons to press and it rolls on its own, fun to watch.
Loooved and still does, these FP playsets in little lunch box cases. Great for traveling. At that age, he chewed them, grabbed and banged two things together, take everything out, put everything in. Great toy(s). We have all the sets! Fabric books, board books, crinkle books, bubble books (the plastic waterproof/chewable ones).
Rubber balls, he liked that bongo drum toy and you cannot see it too good here but FP my first blocks shape sorter was and is still a favorite of his.
That stuff pretty much got us through the winter 6/7 months! And all of those things, he still plays with on a whole new level now, at one year. It's fun to see the advancement and change of play with the same toys!
ETA: Oh yeah, and at that time he had the barn door too and loved it... still does!
Enjoy and hope that helped!!!
