I finally stood up for myself
Today at work my boss started with me and i finally spoke up, Tell me if i'm wrong please? I put in for my vacation and she lost it on me i gave her '3 months" time and she was like Great, because i think she is going to be on vacation the same time. Than i forgot to close the door and she yelled from the top of her liungs... CLOSE THE DOOR!!!! , I was p-od and i spoke up i think now she realizes i wont take her crap.

Last friday i was lightheaded and i told her and i told her that i cleaned and she said i will give you something to be lightheaded about and show you how to clean the cart. And than today i was like No Way am i going to put up with this again this year, So i called HR, I think they might have talked to her already because she wouldn't say a word to me. Sorry i "Will Not" Put up with that. Thank you ladies.

Maybe I have the wrong impression but it sounds pretty convenient she lost your vaca request for time when she also wanted to take off KWIM? Good for you, NO ONE has the right to belittle you or yell at you like a child. Shame on her!

I used to have a boss like this too... and the best part of it is- she fell hard and fast- and now has NO power...while I did well for myself in the company and I KNOW it kills her.
Sometimes I love sweet justice and karma!
Good for you for standing up to her... people like that have issues and in order to make themselves feel better they use any small amount of power they have to make others feel like cr@p!

Good for you!!!! 3 months in advance is MORE than enough notice for a vacation.
You KNOW how I feel about your boss!
I honestly dont know how in the world she Still has a job after all the stories you have told me (and others).
I really hope you have started documenting everything!

Good for you! Three month's notice is ample time for vacation & as for her "I'll give you something to be light-headed about", that's completely out of line.
Good for you for going to HR. I would encourage anyone else she's abusive with to go to HR as well. They can either send her for management training or act on her inappropriate behavior. She sounds like she's a liability to your company & making for a hostile work environment.

ITA, and I give you A LOT of credit for still working with such a b!tch! I would of been fired cause there is no way I would of took her BS the first time!

I am having similar issues at work with an inappropriate superior. I am scared to go to HR though because the HR person is scared of him!
He ****** me off so much on Friday I had to walk out of the place. I am working from home today because I still am not calm enough to face him.
I lost sleep over this this past weekend and even was in tears which NEVER happens.
Help!

I know how you feel, Today she confronted me about me telling the "Big" Boss and tried to turn it around on me, But in the end i know better, She will probably be gone soon anyway. But all you have to do is call his head superior and tell them what is happening in the work place, Maybe "His" boss can talk to him. Good luck, Oh and you can make it anymonous too.
