I gained 9 pounds in five weeks
Just got back from my ob appt. All is looking pretty good. I am 29 weeks. I gained 9 pounds since my last appt 5 weeks ago. All in my belly. They think some of it is water retention. I hope so. Yikes. I knew I gained some weight but didn't expect that. Have gained 25 pounds so far. Doctor only wanted me to gain between 20-25 pounds for the whole pregnancy. Didn't seem too concerned at this appt. Baby size looks good. BP is great. Will go back in 3 weeks for a growth sono. In the meantime I have to attempt to take the 3 hour test....

at my last visit they said i gained 7lbs in 4 weeks.. 
but then she took one lookat my legs and feet and was like "umm..looks like a lot of water retention."
so thats probably ALOT OF IT!!

The nurse said the same thing about retaining water. With the hot weather and the extra liquids I have been drinking, its no surprise...

YES!! and my blood pressure has been sort of low so they want me to drink more fluids. i feel like a beached whale.
