I got such a nice surprise yesterday!
so ( shameless plug) sunday is my 1 year anniversary
I return home yesterday for a 3 day business trip and the doorman told me I had a few packages - I was like ok- just give them to me- I am so tired - I don't care about anything right now
I got 1 thing I order- and the second package was all this food for my MIL
4 steaks, 2 lobster tails, cheesecake sampler,and an apple something!
I had no idea other people got you things for your anniversary- but it was such a nice treat!
I even cooked 2 steaks and the tails- Jake said it was the best thing I ever made!

We are married 2 years and on our 1st anniversary my ILs did not acknowledge it but this year they sent us money so that we could go out for a nice dinner.

Happy 1st! such a nice gift from MIL- enjoy!
I remember when it was my first and people were getting me all kinds of gifts and money- I was kinda shocked, I never knew that people did that sort of thing. Unfortunately alot of the gifts stopped after the first one.
