I guess baby brain is a real thing???
In the past, whenever people referred to their forgetfulness as "baby brain," I really thought it was BS lol
Well now I know that it is the REAL deal... Today, I put my car keys in my work bag, locked the door to my car, and started to walk in the building. Only problem was that I left the workbag on the passenger seat!!!!! I teach in Queens, and my husband is on the border of Nassau/Suffolk for work. He now has to leave work early to drive out to me and unlock my car, ughhhhhhh
I am such an organized person, and I'm so disappointed that this happened. I can definitely chalk it up to "baby brain"

omg yes and worse with each kid lol. I am a mess with my 3rd. Complete disaster. I forget everything. If I don't have in my phone calendar with an alarm I forget

If you think baby brain is bad, wait til mommy brain happens.
For example: we were invited to a birthday party. I even rescheduled the baby's well visit well in advance so we could go since it was on the same day at the same time as the party. I was browsing through Facebook the night before and saw my friend had posted pictures... Of the birthday party which was apparently Saturday, not Sunday. I had it in my phone as Sunday, told my husband it was Sunday. Had the gifts all ready to go. I was mortified. I felt horrible. Now I triple confirm dates.

I think my DH has sympathy pregnancy brain. We just bought a house on LI and he drove out there Sunday morning to do work and forgot the keys.  He had to drive back to Queens to get them.
ETA: Or maybe that's just man brain in general??

And like someone else said it gets worse with each pregnancy
Pregnant with my 3rd....
I walked out of my doctors appointment tonight with no coat, no wallet, no keys ......
What is worse is me having to walk back into the office and collect everything with two nurses chuckling!!!!
