I guess this weather is good for something! (Pics)
As much as I cannot stand the cold weather, I love when the leaves turn! Therefore, I decided to take a few pics yesterday of the leaves changing from my front yard (I live on a lake in Orange County, NY)

Beautiful! I am so thankful that I get to see this everyday when I wake up.

That IS beautiful! Too bad it involves this nasty weather!
Wouldn't it be nice if the leaves could change like that but we could keep the warm weather!!

I love the smell that goes along with the leave changing.. that fall smell.. ahh soo fresh and crisp.

Thank you. I do not take it for granted. Pretty much the ONLY benefit to buying a fixer upper  The view is amazing...the house, is STILL a work in progress.

Awwww. Thank you. When we bought my DH was like a doe eyed deer looking at the lake, mesmerized. I sent him to the car while I talked to the RE agent. 
He did not care that the house was a REAL fixer upper, all he saw was summers of swimming, fishing, boating, etc. etc.

I will bring the some wine and hot chocolate. I know that sounds gross - but that is what I would do all day - just sit there and stare out.
Hot chocolate to keep warm and wine - well probably to do that same

TOTALLY. When we have my MIL stay over(so she watches DD) DH and I take detach the dock and hook up the battery operated motor. We sit on the dock as we float into the middle of the lake and have a bottle of wine with some snacks as watch the sunset. I miss summer so much!
Ok, now you are tempting me to have a play date here or a mommy G2G. Maybe a play date or G2G paired with a trip to the commons? Anyone interested?
