I had a guardian angel with me today...
Today I was driving on Nichols Rd when traffic came to a complete stop because someone had veered off the road. I saw a truck behind me heading right into the back of me, where I had Jaidy sitting. I thought I was going to get hit and hit very hard and was so scared for Jaidy. The driver quickly gained complete control and was able to veer off the road and was parallel to my truck. I noticed it was a Selden Fire Chief truck. I am so thankful that he was behind me because I fear if it was someone else they would have plowed into me and Jaidy would most likely be hurt I took note of the number on the truck and wrote an e-mail on the fire departments website so hopefully he can know how very grateful I am!!
Some one was looking out for us today for sure!!!

Wow! That is an awful feeling when you think you are going to get hit and you can't do anything to stop it. So helpless!!

I just got this e-mail from the FD...
We are glad to hear everything worked out OK and thank you for the kind words. I will forward your email to him so he gets your message. It's not that often that someone goes out of their way to say something nice to the volunteers and we appreciate every word of it.
So I am happy I sent an e-mail
