i had a ruptured ovarian cyst
it HURTS  and i had to call in sick to work and go to my gyn for an ultrasound and a CT scan 
luckily, there are no other issues. the cyst that was there ruptured, and there aren't any others. she said that my ovaries, uterus, and tubes looked good.
for what it's worth, i never had any gyn problems whatsoever before ttc... i'm finding it morbidly amusing that i am now having issues, during a time when i'm most likely to be a nervous wreck over it 
anyway, thanks for letting me vent...

awww feel better! It seems like a blessing in disguise considering a ruptured ovarian cyst would have been much worse had you been preggos.

I've had a few of these (unfortunately). They are big time painful.  My doc always said that either BCPs or getting pg would make them go away. BCPs worked while I was on them, and so far so good while being pg!

I'm sorry you had. I had one too a few years ago - same thing - i just "felt" like something wasn't right - went right to gyno and the ultrasound showed it. My doc did have me go for another follow up ultrasound a couple of months later and all was well. Thank GOD I've never had any gyn probs either, i think it came from my having switched to a different BCP the month before and the change of estrogen etc...

Hope you feel better! My SIL had one during the first trimester of her pregnancy and right now she's ready to deliver any day.
