I had my baby boy this mornIng
Yesterday the dr sent me to L&D bc I was 4 cm and 80% effaced at 40w5d. Her intentions were to start me on pitocin then to break my water. I got to the hops at 530, monitored on the fetal monitor and somehow I started contracting really strong. Once they admitted me the pain was getting bad, I asked if they were gonna start me on the pitocin and the nurse didn't know. Well by 11pm I was 4.5 cm and 90 effaced...I was in so much pain I asked for th epidural and they fold me to get some sleep. Who slept? Not me! I was checked again at 6 am I was 6cm and my water broke...took me 3 more hrs to get to 10cm and after an hour and 45 min of pushing my little boy was here.
