I had my Level II on Nov 6, my next appt is Dec 4 but what I really want to know

is will I have another sonogram in the future? Or is Level II the last one?

I really want another sonogram, I so want to see the baby moving and hear the heartbeat.

Everyone's doctor is different.... Ask him/her at the next appointment what their schedule is.

The last sono that I had was at my Level II, and I will not be having my next one which will also be my last one God willing everything is alright at 36 weeks.

My Level II was December 20th last year and I didn't see my little one again until he came out!

Like the PP said, all doctors are different on this one.

My next sono in Dec. 10, ill be 28 weeks

I don't get another sono after that one.

I opted for the 3D one which I have to pay for. I go in 2 weeks and I can't wait.

I have my second Level II tomorrow night since baby didn't cooperate, but I don't expect another one for a while. However, I think they'll use the doppler to let you hear the heartbeat at every appointment.

many doctors do not give you another sono after your level II unless there is a concern....I paid for a 3d sono at 27 weeks and did wind up with a growth sono at 37 weeks, but not everyone gets one of those

Depends on the office, as the PP's have said. My office does a 32 week growth sono - ask your doc next time you're there.

We had sonos at 9 weeks, 22 weeks and 35 weeks.
Every Dr is different a friend of mine has had one almost every appt.

Every doctor is different.

I had a sono at 12 weeks (nuchal fold), one at 18 weeks (level II) and another at 22 weeks. That's standard for my office. My doc said I won't have another sono unless there is an issue.

i just had my level II on monday (the baby wouldn't cooperate so we couldn't find out the sex) and i asked if i would get another sonogram. they said not unless i develop some sort of problem like diabetes.

with my ds i had my level II at 20 weeks and then another one once i was overdue just to make sure everything was okay.

my sister is pregnant also and she gets a sonogram every time she goes to the doctor! she's not high risk or anything, that's just the way her doctors do it.

My dr's office does a sono at 36 weeks just to check the size of the baby, that's in conjunction with my 1st internal. Every place is different so I would ask your office and see what their plan is.

You'll need to ask your doctor. Some do a growth sono around 35 weeks or so. If nothing is wrong and you are not an older mom though, they may not do another one.

It's hard to wait, I know! But you'll feel lots of movement soon, and that helps.
