I hate my Citi Mini double...Need double stroller help

Ugh, it just annoys me in so many ways and I'm so mad I spent the $ on it...but everyone else seems to love it?

SO..that said, I need something else, but since I spent a lot on that one, I cant spend a lot again.

I love how light it is to steer how easy to handle..but thats about IT. Oh and the long sun shades are great.

I hate that to lower the seats ( recline) you have to pull that thingy, I always do it too far or not enough and or hurt my hand trying to do it.

I hate the straps...thyey are so wide they engulf my little munchkins and rub on them so bad.

I hate that the clips for the straps are so flimsy ( where you adjust them) and I cant find the right adjustment.

And I hate how they can never seem to be sitting up enough in the seats...and I heard even with the boards in the back, that I dont wanna spend money on anyway, that its not much better.

So , what other double strollers are out there that recline/have sunshades and arent $400?!?

Maclaren Twin Techno. You can get an extra long shade. We also have that thing on it that holds stuff, but as I use it more and more I find that was a waste.

Thanks so much for sharing this--I've been eyeing this stroller for awhile, but I'm having some second thoughts. Like you, I'm not sure which alternative to go with, though

I'm so sorry you hate it. I love mine. However, I know when the babies were smaller, I hated the straps too but now that they are bigger, it's not as bad.

Did you get the new BRU flyer? They have a baby trend double jogger that looks really nice and it's only $189.

I love my Maclaren Twin Triumph. I managed to buy it second hand (barely used and in box) and got it for about half price!

I have the Citi Select and love it but it is pricey. How about the Kolcraft Contours Options Tandem Stroller. It is very similiar and 1/2 the price.

I bought a Maclaren Twin Techno used off of Craigslist and it is what I plan on using when #2 makes their debut.

I was also considering buying the City Mini Double but am on the fence because of the recline issue. I also sat DS in it (he is BIG for 14 months) and he seemed almost too tight in it.

I want a side by side that I can snap one carseat into though, and that seems to be my only option, besides the Peg Perego,which would require me buying a new carseat...
