"I Hate My DH Week" has officially kicked off!
So, I'll start!! 
We have an outing at the beach today....DH's fire dept company. Well to make a long story short, he spent most of the time drinking, on the ski boat water skiing or knee boarding. I was holding DD ALL day in the heat. Couldn't go in the water, or the sun, so I had to stay under the tent. He held her for 5 minutes while I shoved a hamburger down my throat. After about 4 hours I left, walked home without saying good-bye. He shows up at home 2 hours after me and proceeds to "play" outside with his fire pit. Obviously a bit tipsy from today 
Meanwhile, I've gotten in a nice nap and so has DD. She was wiped from today. I make myself dinner, yes alone. He comes in and as I'm maneuvering a hot pot on the stove with DD in my arms, he walks right past me... sees me and doesn't offer a helping hand
So I eat alone with DD in my arms. He comes in, sits down and I hand her off to him. She starts to SCREAM. Hmmmm  I wonder why?? Maybe because she has NO CLUE WHO YOU ARE!!!
I immediately pick her up from his lap and I proceed to do the "Happiest Baby on the Block" techniques and she quiets right down for me. I swaddle her and rock her and she's immediately asleep. So he says "Let's watch the DVD. Where is it?" I'm thinking to myself, GREAT!! He's interested, wants to help, wants to know how to do everything....
15 minutes into it, he's passed out sleeping.
Ah yes... we're off to a GREAT start this week!

I mean does the term "FAMILY PICNIC" mean anything to him?? I barely saw him the whole time!!

His family was there. DUH.
Know what mine does? When we are out at a BBQ or whatever he is all attentive, so it LOOKS like he does stuff when he really doesn't!

Well, the sad thing is, I SHOULD get mad, but I am usually so happy that he is holding DS that I just go with the act.
Is he working tomorrow or off b/c a crying baby probably is no fun for a hangover

Yes he has tomorrow off, but he's "got to cut the grass." Today was his day off too and I THOUGHT that he would make some sort of effort with us.
Oh, and we're supposed to have a "date night" tomorrow night.
Yeah, cuz I'm soooooo in the mood for that now!

we are opposite. DH is too hands on and I don't trust him with the baby. He doesn't think. We were at a BBQ last week and fought back and forth...I was ready to rip the baby from his arms.
He is holding Josh and this yappy little puppy kept jumping up and down in Josh's face. The puppy isn't trained at all, teeths on everyone, and isn't use to kids. Even the owners were telling him to keep baby away from dog.
I look over and see this and ask him to pick baby up away from dog. He tells me relax We go back and forth, the host and guests were loving this because they have never seen us argue before.
The next day he takes baby for a 4 hour walk...sounds great? he still doesn't understand the concept of sunburning.
