I hate my verizon phone

I hate my phone. I have a more than a year left on my contract but is there a way to upgrade my phone and plan to a blackberry?

It's been my experience you can always upgrade your phone and plan.

For the plan, you will probably have to sign up for another 2 year contract but there shouldn't be any penalties to upgrade.

For the phone, after a year with your current phone you may be eligible for a promotional phone upgrade if not you can pay full price for a new device. If your account is set up online, you can probably check there to see if you can get the discounted phone price.
