i hate nursing pads

i hate how you can see them through clothing. they never lie smoothly in my bra so i have to wear shirts that hide the wrinkles they make! grrrr...anyone find ones that stay nice and smooth and aren't too obvious? I use the lansinoh ones.

Re: i hate nursing pads

the gerber ones are thin but don't have an adhesive. You can't see them if not wearing white. Once your milk supply evens out you hopefully won't need them.

Re: i hate nursing pads

They are horrible I know, but you will hopefully get to a point where you wont need them any longer. I stopped having to use them at around 8 weeks of nurising, I think, it's been so nice Chat Icon

Ugh. I remember them. They were annoying but I was so afraid of leaking.

Re: i hate nursing pads

I find the Avent ones to be the most comfortable and least noticable.

Have you tried Lily Pads? They're not absorbent, but they're super comfortable and totally no show.

OK. I'm a dumbarse b/c I still use them (at 12wks) and probably don't need them at all. I've been shoving them in as part of my routine but I never checked if they were absorbing anything Chat Icon Now I'm probably just sweating more with them.

Re: i hate nursing pads

I hated that for the first few weeks!! Then I found my solution: padded nursing bras. You could never ever see the nursing pads through the padded bras. It was so much better! Good luck!

I also wore the pads every day I nursed- one year. I was afraid of leaking.

Re: i hate nursing pads

I know what you mean, but I just got lightly paded bras from JCPenny and you can't see them.
I find Lasonin (sp?) and gerber to be the thinest.

Re: i hate nursing pads

I have tried Lansinoh, Avent and Gerber and found Lansinoh to be the least visible and most comfy so far. The Avent ones are sooo thick, so I wear them at night since I have a huge box.
