if your "due" date is tomorrow, why are you worried.
wait until after tomorrow, then get worried or whatever.
I don't even know when ours in scheduled to come.
it's "free" money. I haven't spent it yet b/c I wasn't expecting it in the first place. it'll come when it comes.
Wiser words were neve spoken! If my paycheck was late- then I'd be concerned. This is found money... I'll survive without it until it decides to show up.
But you know what..some people NEED the money, they didn't have money before all this ES talk and are eager to receive it so they can pay bills, etc. It's great you aren't in that position, but these posts, which are somewhat demeaning to those asking (worried) about it, are getting a tad annoying. If you (or others) aren't worried about when you are getting your money, why even bother reading these threads?
I'm sorry, but I disagree. Yes, there are people that need the money, and I can fully understand the worry that comes with it when it is promised and they do not receive it.
However, this post and the response have to do with not utilizing the resources that are available - such as going to the IRS website (irs.gov) and checking the status of the check. Additionally, if the check was promised to be deposited on (for example) June 1 - what's the reasoning behind posting a question about it two weeks in advance (for example.)
The response to the OP was by no means to demean anyone.

Exactly! And I am by no means independantly wealthy. I need the money too. I'm excited about it. But there is nothing we can do about it. It will get here when it gets here. And complaining isn't going to bring it to any of us any faster....

Re: I hate to do this---Rebate Check
grrr I still didn't get it. I have until the end of the day today.
I'll probably be one of the lucky ones that had theirs deposited into the wrong account.

people are just having a discussion about it.
I agree with the PP that some people are anxious to get this money. It really shouldn't bother anyone if there is a thread about it. If it doesn't pertain to you or interest you, you dont have to respond to it.
