I have a 2.5 month old -- can you share your DC's daily schedule
'M I asking too much for a schedule and this age?
The reason why I"m asking is that my son loves to sleep and sleeps after every bottle and then is up in the night--well, he's teething and messed up his schedule.
At what age can my son start wanting to play?

Re: I have a 2.5 month old -- can you share your DC's daily schedule
My son is 2 months old. He does not sleep through the night yet but he is starting his own schedule. He wakes up between 6 and 6:30 He has a bottle. He will sometimes go back to sleep for an hour or two. He is usually up for his 'day' by 8:30. He is then pretty much up until 12:30ish. He has a bottle about then, we are usually get my daughter ready for what ever we are doing for the day. He then seems to take a nap from around 1 and will sleep right until I serve dinner. It's like he's psychic, the plates come out and he's up. I usually alternate with watching my daughter eat and eating myself and feeding him. Then we usually go out for a walk at 7 and he falls asleep and gets up around 9 for a bottle. He then goes to bed for the night until he wakes up around 3ish for another bottle and then the day repeats itself.
To answer your question we play in the morning and if he is up after my daughter goes to bed.

Re: I have a 2.5 month old -- can you share your DC's daily schedule
5:30/6:30ish - usually wakes up for the day. Gets him morning bottle.
Pretty much stays awake till next feeding 3 hrs later.
8/9AM - 2nd bottle
9:30 to 10:30 - plays/sits in swing
10:30 to noon - naps
noon - 3rd bottle - may nap right after till his 3PM bottle. If not, he'll be up for an hour and then nap for about an hour
3PM - 4th bottle - if he napped at noon, he'll be up till his 6PM bottle, if not, he will nap till his 6PM bottle
6PM - 5th bottle - he will either fall asleep at 7:30 ish in swing, I will dream feed at around 9/9:30. If he is still awake, I feed him his last bottle at 8:30 and put him down for the night.
He will sleep from 9PM till 5:30/6:30 the next morning.
His naps are not at all consistent but his feeding schedule is. There are days when he barely naps and days when he naps the whole day.
Typically I get a 2-3 hr nap either btwn 12-3 or 2-6 and a few 40 minute cap naps here or there.
in terms of "playing", he likes to talk in the mornings.

Re: I have a 2.5 month old -- can you share your DC's daily schedule
This is the schedule for my three month old:
Wakes up around 630-700. Has a bottle and then we play. Around 9am he falls asleep again and then wakes up around 11am
Has a bottle and then we play again. I try to keep him going all afternoon so he wants another bottle around 2pm and more play time. I try to get him ready for a nap around 5pm in which he then has another bottle and then usually falls asleep.
At this point I cook dinner. He wakes up around 6pm and then has another bottle around 8pm. He then usually goes to bed for the night around 9pm and off we go to the next day.
I have found in the extreme heat everything is off.
Hope this helps
