I have a BAD Ear Infection and I'm BFing
The pain is unbearable. I know when I go to the Dr later he is going to put me on an antibiotic, but I'm pretty sure this infection was like my last one last year when the tube in my ear was clogged so bad they wanted to have me take Sudafed and Robitussium.
The Sudafed was to open up the ear tube and the Robittuism was to thin out the gunk that was in there. (It was really nasty the Dr said) I was in my 1st trimester when this happened so I opted to only take the antibiotics. Well 3 rounds of antibiotics later it was finally clear.
Sorry-long story even longer-Now that I have the same thing I don't want to take Sudafed because I am BFing and it dries up your milk. Anyone have any suggestions or am stuck with a month worth of antibiotics? TIA

I took Sudafed when I had ear infections and it didn't hurt my milk supply at all.

I take Sudafed with no problems at all with my supply. I did with both my kids
