I have a cold and I am due in 9 days!! what if it is a sinus infection....

Ugh what I thought was a cold may turn into an infection.....sorry for the TMI but my boogies are not clear anymore.

The OBGYN office said I can only take benedryl and it may turn into an infection.....

Then does that mean i can only take antibiotics which whatever but cant they cause yeast infections!??!?!

Then what? I am FORCED to have a C section?!?!?!?!

Ahhhh!

Or my other nightmare is I have to have a C section and while they are operating I am COUGHING!!!!!!!

How does that work!??!??!??!?!

First hope you feel better! Second. . go kick this thing. . get yourself a nasal rinse (or neti pot) and rinse 2x a time. . drink all the liquids you can and do a lot of hoping and cross your fingers it's gone !

Also, taking antibiotics doesn't cause a yeast infection usually so I wouldn't get worried yet!

But as always best advice is ask your doc!

Don't stress...I had a bad cold the day I gave birth to my son. I happend to be on antibiotics because I had a UTI which I had no idea I had, but they figured out when I was in the hospital. I had a vaginal delivery. Everything will be fine! Good luck!

A. - If taking antibiotics doesn't normally result in a yeast infection for you, there is absolutely nothing to stress over -

Eat yogurt, you'll be fine.

If you DID get an infection, I am sure there is something safe for you to take!

B. - You would rather be health and in labor than in labor w/ a sinus infection

Don't stress over something you have no control over - Rest up, take good care of yourself and you'll be fine !!
