I have a question about eggs?
So I hear you aren't supposed to give eggs until after a year. My dr never told me this and he said I could give DS mashed up meatloaf/meatballs, so is this ok since I am making them with eggs? Stupid question I know! I give him pastina and that has egg in it. I'm confused!

I got the ok for eggs at his 8 month appt. If your ped said it was ok, I wouldn't worry about it.

I was told to give the whole egg before a year--one of the 12 month shots has some egg product in it, so we needed to rule out allergies beforehand.
We began eggs around 8-9 mos? and we had no problems.

I go to a group practice...one ped told me 12mths the other said no way until 18mths.....I wish they would all decide what is what and when

I give DD eggs and she is only 10 months old. Doc said it was ok... said to do yolks, then whites, then whole thing.
