Wow Christina - that's freaky!! A little TOO accurate with your DH's name!! 
But the "something big" going to happen I attribute to the typical generalized vague things that many of the psychics and readers use so that their predictions are more universal.

i'll tell you guys a quick story, and you can decide what you think from there:
on Sept. 8, 2001, I went to a friends block party in Queens. There was a guy there doing Tarot Card readings. I NEVER EVER believed in them, or Palm readers for that matter, but my girlfriend and i reluctantly decided to do it, just for fun i guess.
He proceeded to tell me a little bit about myself, which he was ON POINT about everything!!!  personality wise, etc. He then proceeded to tell me that something BIG was going to happen. It was going to be HUGE, and that it would put things back into perspective for me, and that my life would change drastically!!! (i was going thru a rough time personally at that time)...He then told me that i was going to fall in love with a guy named "eddie"...and that "eddie" was my soulmate all along, and i didn't know it.
I left there laughing hysterically about it all, because at the time, the guy doing work on my apartment was named eddie...(he was my friend's BIL)
Needless to say, 3 days later, Sept. 11 happened. and EVERYTHING changed!!
DH (whose name is eddie!! )...and I started to spend alot of time together, talking about everything that happened, how we felt about it all, and what he went thru down at ground zero. It was all just surreal.
Today, he is my best friend and my soulmate.  
So, do i believe in tarot cards, or the "reading's" as some put it: YES!
WOW..cool. I always think it is fun and just take it for what it is worth..
But i have been told some strange things about my heritage that i didn't know and didn't find out to be true until i went home and talked to my parents..
So although i certainly agree that people can be swayed by what they hear....i had no control over my heritage

IMO you do have to be present for a tarot card reading!
I thought the whole point was having the person there? to touch the cards?
no? No jenn you dont have to be present i done it on people who have not been present who asked me to do it and they were like oh my god.

Well in all the books i have read...the person who is being read is supposed to not only cut the deck but touch the cards and pick them out for reading...
