I don't want to take something that will affect my supply, but my nose is killing me. It's super runny and I have a lot *TMI* of flem. Any suggestions are REALLY appreciated.

If you can, I would just let it run its course. You will actually be helping the baby build up antibodies by breast-feeding while you are sick.

Maybe someone else has some advice on what you can take if you are desperate. Sorry I can't be more help.

Feel better soon!Chat Icon

Here is a link to the babycenter.com website, they have a list of drugs that are thought to be safe.

I noticed they said that oral decongestants may decrease the milk supply, but that Afrin, a decongestant spray, was okay. If you're still not sure, call your ped.Chat Icon

I had that a lot while I was pregnant and breastfeeding. I used saline noise spray. There is nothing in it, but it will clear you up. After a day you will notice a difference. Feel better!!

Thank you friends! I am really not feeling well; your information truly helps. I just don't have the energy to search around the web myself.

I hope this clears up soon!
