Re: I have a twitch in my eyelid
This happens to me when I'm really stressed. I don't think there's much you can do about it though. Don't be embarrassed!

Re: I have a twitch in my eyelid
I dont think other people can tell I think you just need to get a good nights sleep. I get the twitching eyelid when I am sooo tired.

Re: I have a twitch in my eyelid
When I went to the doctor for my checkup, I mentioned it and she said often it is stress related. I was in school at the time, studying for finals. She told me to lay off the caffeine and get enough sleep. I do get it still occasionally, but I think it is stress related for me.

Re: I have a twitch in my eyelid
It used to happen to me all the time a few years ago. It's definitely stress. For a few years after my Dad had his stroke and I assumed all responsibility for him and I was up for tenure I got them all the time.
I think you are right... I don't think anyone else can see them. I know it's annoying though.

Re: I have a twitch in my eyelid
I get it all the time at work. As other have posted it is stress related. My dr. told me the same thing. When I asked what I could do he said quit. So since I cant do that I just deal with it. But you are right, it is soooo annoying and I always think people can tell!

I use to get them. Definitely stress related. I don't think other people can see it. Just try to relax and get enough sleep.
