I have had the worst week (VENT)
DD & I both caught a nasty cold (her first one ever.) It started over the weekend. DH left on Tuesday for Ohio for work. It has not been pretty taking care of Lily when I feel so awful. Today was the worst. I thought I was feeling better but then it spread from my head to everywhere else and I was achy & had the chills. Lovely. Luckily Lily took a 2 hour nap at 10 am (that hardly ever happens) so I was able to go back to bed for an hour. That really helped and I feel better now. Tomorrow we have her 9 month check up and I just realized that the office never called to confirm. I made the appt at her 6 month appt. It's first thing in the am. I'm showing up with my appointment card and they better have us down.  I can't wait until DH gets home tomorrow night. He is on serious DD duty all weekend.
Thanks for letting me vent. Keep your fingers crossed for tomorrow.

 Taking care of a baby while you are sick is the WORST! I remember crying and begging him to be good and go to sleep.
Put your DH to work when he gets home! Remember when we use to greet them at the door with a smile and all intentions of a romp in the room now its throwing sick babies at them

It's getting worse. I thought DD was tired early. Her naps were all off with that long one this morning (not that I'm complaining). She started getting cranky so I tried the routine. She would not have any of it. So now she's playing on the floor. She better tire herself out very soon. I'm ready for bed myself!

 Ugh! try #2. She sat for the stories, but wouldn't take the bottle. I just put her in the crib without drinking. I feel bad, but she's being so whiny, I don't know what to do with her. She needs that bottle. At least, I think she does. She'll probably start screaming at any moment. I think she's overtired now. Bad mommy. I didn't read her signals well.  I think I'm in for a bad night.
