Congrats !!! What a super amazing preemie you have there !!! Someone I know had her twins at 28 weeks. One of them just went home the other day right around her due date. They were about the same weight as your little Owen.
My DS was born at 33 weeks, and was a super preemie too. No breathing assistance needed and home in 10 days. preemies are awesome IMO!!
Congrats again, and  he's home ASAP!!

I know I'm a very hormonal prego right now, but I am crying here seeing the pic of you holding him for the first time. My DS was a 31w preemie and your story brought me back to the first time I saw my son in the NICU and just how TINY he was and how I felt the first time I held him. The NICU journey can be difficult, but they are so resilient and can be so strong despite them being so small.
Many blessings to you and your Owen! May he keep growing strong and healthy, and may you be able to take him home in a few short weeks!

OMG I have tears of joy in my eyes for Owen!! I am totally in love with him!
My DH was premature and just as tiny as your DS when he was born... 46 years ago. My MIL always talks about how small he was but to see it just takes my breath away. You have such a strong boy there!!! Congratulations to you and your family.
