I have to tell a funny story.......
....sort of parenting related.
When we had the baby, DH and I were looking for a friend or family member to nanny for us. This was when we lived in Brooklyn.
My FIL gave me the name of a woman he knows who nannies/baby sits.
Here is the conversation DH and I had.
Me: Your dad gave me the name of a woman that we can call to watch the baby.
DH: Who?
Me: Marie Poppino.....is this a joke??
DH: What do you mean?
Me: What is that? The italian Mary Poppins?? Is he kidding? 
No joke....this womans name is Marie Poppino and she watches kids. How funny is that?!?! Well I thought it was anyway. We were just talking about it and I had to share.
