I HOPE this is not a new sleeping pattern

Miki has been a one napper since 6 months. She always takes a 2-2 1/2 hour nap somewhere around 10am and then goes down at 7:30 for the night

Well yesterday, she only took 1 1/2 hour nap and by 6pm, she was hysterical and tired...I held her in my arms and she fell asleep. I put her in her crib thinking she would sleep all night, but she woke up at 7:30. she wound up going down for the night at 9:45

Then today, same thing, she only slept for 1 1/2 hours and she is now on her 2nd nap (she went in at 5pm)

I wonder if she will go back to her one long nap or not

Chat Icon Chat Icon Can you try pushing her one nap later? Lily takes her one nap around 11 now and that seems to be working (right now.)

Chat Icon I am having a similar situation. DD is also a once a day napper. It used to be 3 hours, then 2, now it seems like it's 1. Chat Icon

DD has been a stubborn one with refusing naps the last few days too...maybe they have spring fever Chat Icon

this happens to ds every few weeks also, give it a couple of days she'll probably get back on her regular schedule soon.
