I used a file for the longest time...I was so afraid to use the clippers....now at 3 1/2 she bites her own nails

I was so scared to cut DS' nails the first few times but I found it easy and <pat on my back> never cut him. I would do it while I BF'ed and he was on the boppy. Make sure there is ALOT of light too. Now that DS is 2 1/2, I have to bribe him...

I also cut my sons finger with clippers when he was about 9 wks or so. Still at 15 months it is a huge PITA. I usually have my SIL do it since for some reason they let her do it even though they fight me like crazy
