I just had a really bad moment
DH called me and said he is going to be home late tonight and then is working tomorrow 8am -midnight.
Then I opened two Christmas cards, one from my friend with a picture of her daughter and her new baby. The other from one of DH's friends with a picture of them, their little daughter, signed X,X,X and baby-to-be.
I don't know why but this sent me over the edge and then I ate a huge chunk of chocolate. I feel so ashamed. I don't usually get like this.

 It's the stress of the holidays. I'm sorry- I totally know the feeling.
The other day I got a card from DHs cousin and her family- the cover was her beautiful newborn little girl looking like an angel and inside it said something to the effect of:
blah blah blah....
hoping that your Christmas and New Year are as blessed as ours.
It was a combo birth announcement/christmas and I got SO sensitive at the phrase
I started yelling at DH WHT does she mean? Because we don't have kids we're not blessed like her!!!!  Later I realized it was just my hurt.

I completely understand how you feel. I feel like all of the Christmas cards we received were pictures of our friends' children. It actually made me really sad.

3 of my friends have had new babies in the last 2 weeks..i am bombarded with new baby pics..about 8 couples i know are preg and/or just had babies and i am soooo not feeling it right now..it is so hard bc these little babies are sooo precious and i just want one sooo bad..i know exactly how you feel..i ate about 2 dozen cookies this week...lol!

Ashamed? ARE you kidding? PLEASE., This season is sooo hard and to be going through what you are. Im surprised you didnt drown in a bottle of wine instead.

Thanks so much everyone! After eating the chocolate, I went shopping, so that made me feel better too.
AF arrived this morning, so I am sure that had something to do with my breakdown.
Well, good news is she's here so I can go on monday for CD3 and get started again.
Wish the cramps weren't so bad.

aww I know the feeling. I was at Walmart yesterday and this woman grabbed this adorable 1 yr old baby and swung her over her arm like a rag doll I was so aggravated that someone who has a beautiful smiley baby doesn't appreciate it when that's the 1 thing in the world I (& we on this board) want more than anything.
Just keep the faith and know that we will be there before you know it!!!
