I just have few questions about jogging strollers
I would like to start jogging again once the weather gets nice (I used to before I had DD, but not since )
DD is 2.5 ? Do you think it's a waste of money to buy a jogging stroller at this point? DD barely uses a stroller , she likes to walk everywhere...
Are there any jogging strollers that are not too expensive but decent? And can jogging stroller be used as an every day stroller?
We have 2 regular strollers now, one in the car and one for every day use. I would just sell the every day stroller ( or give it to someone) and use the jogging stroller for every day walks I guess.

Re: I just have few questions about jogging strollers
I personally don't think it is waste to have one if your DC is 2.5 if you want to be able to run/walk. I have a BOB and I just love my stroller, now my DS is only 16 months but I bought for long term bc I like to run. If you don't want to spend the $ try to find the BOB used or another brand. I can only recommend the BOB it is the perfect ride.

Re: I just have few questions about jogging strollers
Because I bought my jogging "looking" stroller I thought all jogging strollers were meant for jogging. They are NOT!
I have a Jeep Liberty one. It was reasonable, about $160 or about. I love it but it clearly says in the instruction manual it came with that it is NOT meant for jogging. It's meant for walking on uneven terrains (dirt road, grass, sand, etc..). In the end, it did not matter to me. I won't run with DS. So don't be fool by jogging "looking" strollers. Get an actual one designed for jogging. BOB are expensive but they are the real deal.

good point, thank you :) But how do I know if it's really for jogging and not just walking if it says it's a jogging stroller? I'm not planning on running, just walking fast, almost running.
I was just looking at Baby Trend Expedition LX Jogging Stroller, Skylar. Looks like a jogging stroller , it's called a jogging stroller, got great reviews and it's $107.

I think a "real" jogging stroller has a fixed wheel (or the option for a fixed wheel)

I think a "real" jogging stroller has a fixed wheel (or the option for a fixed wheel) I just read that if you are an avid runner than fixed wheel is better, but if you want an every day stroller and want to just jog /fast walk once in a while front swivel wheel is better. lo who knew there were so many options and choices, I thought all jogging strollers were more or less same

I have an InStep Safari and has a swivel wheel or a fixed wheel - there is a lever where you can set it. I use it for walks around the neighborhood and for my stroller strides class and it works just fine.

Re: I just have few questions about jogging strollers
my first single jogger was the baby trend expedition LX. it did it's job. But when I got the BOB duallie, I would have rather pushed both kids with the BOB than 1 kid in the Baby Trend. BOB is just the best.
We use it for a regular stroller since DS#1 was 2.5-present (almost 5)
joggingstroller.com is a great resource

Mine has both but it's still not a true jogging stroller.
But if you jogging stroller has the option to have both front turning wheel or fixed, it MUST be locked while jogging.

I don't lock mine when I run and I have one some longer runs (8 miles) with them.
pushing down on the handle when running to turn was too much. The BOB never gives me a problem with it unlocked

It is supposed to be locked though.
