I just have to share my most recent accomplishment!
I have been running since March. I got more serious this summer, and ran my first race (4 miles) in September. I have gotten to a longest distance so far of about 8.5 miles (I did that once). My most recent goal was to run 5k or 3.1 miles in less than 30 minutes - my average pace before now was about 10:10. Before today my fastest 5k was 30:10. Today I did it in 29:32!!!!! I feel so proud and just wanted to share! I love running because it lets you have a different and new goal all the time, and achieving them is amazing. Just a few months ago 5k took me about 38 minutes, and even 2 months ago it took me about 33 minutes, so the progress is really noticeable and I am so happy right now!
