i just heard an update about the school teacher that went missing...
DH just called me... he just heard on the news that they found her body on the side of the LIE this morning... anyone else hear this?!

i just made a post that they found a body.. not saying if it a female or male yet. it was at the north country hill

An unidentified body was found Wednesday morning in western Nassau, prompting police to cordon off a wide area near the north service road of the Long Island Expressway near Shelter Rock Road, authorities say.
"The body is not going to be easily identified," said Det. Lt. Kevin Smith, a Nassau police spokesman.
Homicide detectives are on the scene, he said.
The body was discovered about 7:58 a.m., he said. Smith said police have not connected the body with any particular case -- including that of missing Bethpage special-education teacher Leah Walsh. "There's no link," he said. "It's too soon to say."

That part is so disturbing.
seriously.
it's been cold outside, so it's unlikely that a body would have decomped so quickly...
unless there are wild animals in that area 
it could also indicate the type of injuries the deceased person sustained.
God Bless the family of whoever this poor soul is.

Unless it is the missing women, it could be decomp.
Otherwise if it is the missing person, it would be most likely because of injury on her body.
DH think she "disappeared" on purpose.
I don't think so. Either the husband staging the whole thing or someone picked her up while she was stranded.
It's sad! You really can't trust anyone.
At this point, I would NEVER go in anyone's car. Even if they have a gun. It's either dead now or later anyway.

It's on News 12 now. The body was found near North Hills. Still no additional information but North Hills is kind of far from the SOB so if it is her she was definitely taken by car.
