I know - dumb question but.....
When you are shopping for maternity clothes, do you pick the size you are/ were pre-pregnancy?

Yes, and not a dumb question! Most maternity clothes are designed that way.

generally, they say yes, to pick the pre-pregnant size in maternity clothes.

Generally yes, but I need to try all clothes on, because some are too small in my size.

I agree with trying clothes on. I found Old Navy's maternity clothes to run larger than their regular clothes. Other stores are inconsistent in their sizing.

that's what the store and the tags say to do, but honestly, everything is so inconsistent... especially once you get bigger and toward the end of your pregnancy...

Usually , if you are buying on line , they have a guide that I follow but sometimes they still dotn fit right. I prefer to try on in store.
