Sorry dumb question but I dont know- diaper rash
What does diaper rash look like. Today AJ woke up with little bumps on his butt cheeks. It looks like heat rash would IMO. It isnt on his crack (sorry TMI) and he didnt have poopie in his diaper that would of irritated him.
So does diaper rash look like little pimples? Should I call the pedi? Or just put some desitin or aquaphor on him?

Yup, that's a rash. pat his bottom dry after you wipe his bottom and then put some ointment on it.

My DD got that once in a while. I used Buttpaste from BRU and it worked like a charm.

Is it blistery? Be careful not to rub to hard w/the wipes either, just dab.
I found Desitin to work well for Charlie too, if the rash wasn't that bad. The redness would usually go away over night.

Yeah it is a little blistery? Now should I worry. Everytime I change his diaper I use a little desitin. I just let his little hiney get some air, then loaded him up with desitin.

If it's a little blistery, then don't use wipes on his bottom. Instead at every diaper change, take him over to the sink and wash his bottom with luke warm water. Then pat dry his bottom with a towel and once his bottom is dry, then put either ointment or the corn starch baby powder on it.
Good luck!
