I KNOW i made my cc payment yesterday
but had no ink to print out the confirmation  this morning i get a email that they payment is late and over due what can i do to fix this. i have never had a late payment with them and always pay it in full(thanks to keith everything we paid was in full so i continued with it) i am trying so hard to rebuild my credit and now this.
should i wait a couple more days to see if it gets posted to my bank account? or call them today?

you should call them and tell them when the payment was made.
For confirmation number: check the website you used or your email.
Then ask them to clear the late fee. They usually give a grace period.

Call them!!! Usually an online payment (particularly if it was made after 12pm) doesn't post until the next business day, so that email was automatically generated since you hadn't "paid" the bill. But ring them and verify the payment was received, you should be OK!!! (and Congrats!)

thanks i will call them . they do not open till 9 am pt. so that is what noon our time right yeah i know i suck at figuring out time differences

ITA - some cut off times are noon, some are 3pm, some are 5 pm, and then it also depends on the time zone ! They make things so confusing sometimes!!
Also, late payments aren't reported to the Credit bureaus until they are more then 30 days past due (this was information I was given by my credit union, because we were away when the car payment was due and I was worried that it would effect our credit scores!!)
definitely check your bank to make sure the $$ was taken out, and definitely call them to tell them that you did make the payment & see if they will waive the late fee....it's worth a shot!!

Tell them you have never been late and ask them for the customer appreciation one time cc forgiveness. Most cc companies will do this. If they give you a problem...tell them you want to cancel your card...then they will work with you!!!

Janet- go back to the website where you made the payment and make sure that you paid it not scheduled a payment. I've made this mistake with my CC company.
