Re: I know I shouldnt be complaining but a ? re:weight
I'd count your blessings. I lost 31 lbs the first week after I had DS. I gained 45 lbs though during pregnancy.

Re: I know I shouldnt be complaining but a ? re:weight
I think during your pregnancy, you were losing weight and the baby was gaining it, thus the reason why you didn't gain much. This could be because you were eating healthier than before or that your body was making good use of the the amount of calories you were taking in for growing a baby.
And now, after you had the baby, you are seeing your weight loss.
I'd say don't worry about it! If you keep losing weight and dip into the unhealthy range for your height, then I'd make an appt to get checked, but otherwise, keep up the good work and enjoy it!

Re: I know I shouldnt be complaining but a ? re:weight
Same thing has happened to me. I lost 40 lbs in less than 2 weeks (also a C). Everyone says how great I look, but is concerning to me that my body could just shed weight like that. I think you, llike me, were also extremely swollen, so its the water weight. Our bodies have been through A LOT these past 9 mos, so I think its going to take time for everything to readjust. A 2 weeks PP, my appetite still isn't the same.
I heard:
2 days 2 weeks 2 months
each one is a huge mile stone after birth, esp a C, so hang in there!

I would call your OB. I know any weight gain or loss over 10lbs in a short spam of time can mean something is wrong. XOXOXO BOTB

Re: I know I shouldnt be complaining but a ? re:weight
this happened to a friend of mine- she actually didn't gain anything while pregnant and wound up losing a lot after birth of her DC- sometimes I think the baby takes whatever "extra" you have on your body at the time- so you don't actually gain anything.. so I think you're OK... as long as you feel fine, are eating healthfully and drinking water- you're good!
